go there all the time! bowls are great and they even stayed open later for me! i brought my cousins and friends from around the world and they love it so much. never fail to please me! :)

Usually the bowls there are pretty good but if you get a to go bowl they are never very good. I’ve gotten to go bowls multiple times and none of them have been very good. I’ve gotten a Nutella bowl where there was barely any Nutella, I’ve gotten the tropical bowl and it didn’t have any granola, and I’ve gotten the coco craze and it had way too much granola (the bowl was filled with granola from the bottom to the top), I had strawberries added and they were brown, all the fruit was smushed, and the coconut base was disgusting. It had a weird taste to it, and it was the consistency of water, not the usually thickness. Also, there were tons of ice chunks in it. Because there was so much granola, there was barely any coconut base but what there was was disgusting. Overall I am very disappointed and I don’t know if I’ll go back or not.

Went to the one in red bank for first time was turned off the staff touching their hair with gloves on one staff member wiped under her nose with gloves on. I watched they never changed there gloves and continued to make bowls will not go back!

Awesome place. Got the usual (Pura Vida) and added Kiwi, Mango, Pineapple, & Chia Seeds !

This place is great. So manny options with bowls, smoothies, and oatmeal. The toppings are where it's at though. I've only ever tried their bowls. Today I tried a bowl with half coconut and was pleasantly surprised. Everything is reasonably priced for the amount you get. They really did a great job with the decor of this place too. Definitely worth a visit.

Got a to go tropical acai bowl and it was the right size for a breakfast, flavors were good, maybe a touch more honey could have helped but otherwise it was pretty good! Prices are a bit high but that's what you expect in a place like this in Red Bank.

I got to this place 5 minutes before it closed and the. Chinese lady let a white couple in and then when she saw me and my husband walking to the doors she said it was closed. Very disrespectful and racist.

Playa Bowl is easily my favorite acai establishment up and down the east coast. The fruit is fresh, their acai is not icy or overpowered by other flavors, the granola is absolutely delicious and they use enough to get a little in every bite and the prices are just right. I'm sad we don't have a Playa Bowl in the DMV because it really blows all these other places out of the water with the selection and offerings. I stop by everytime I am in the area!

I work in town and really enjoy getting my lunch here. However the staff lacks customer service. Their personal conversations trump taking care of the customers and making the food. I use to tip every single time, but recently stopped tipping because I am disappointing with the staff. I watch the girls talk the whole time they make my bowl, constantly turning their back on what they are doing to talk to each other making the process twice as long. This happens every single time. recently I walked in and was waiting at the register to order. 3 employees were talking, made eye contact with me, but finished their conversation before walking over to take my order. If they could talk and work at the same time I would not care but that is not the case. Reading other yelp and google reviews, a lot of complaints about the staff means its time to have a conversation with them.

Lack of competence and inability to properly listen to the order we placed by this 20 year old girl makes me not want to return to this location.

I am a frequent visitor of The Playa Bowls in Red Bank (virtually daily). It is my favorite location!! The staff there is courteous and friendly. The bowls are always spot on!! I visited the Millburn location last week, while in the area. It was my second time at that location. Quite a different experience. The staff is indifferent, and I paid two additional dollars for a two ingredient bowl (Açaí and Blueberries) that was less than half full. I will not return!!Glad to be so local to Red Bank, and will continue to get my daily Playa Fix there!!

Place was good. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Got the oh mega bowl and that was really good. The juice we got tasted healthy, with a earthy taste.

Found a hair in my bowl there so I'll return to the other locations.

Could be better. The bowls are good, if they get them right or even remember your order. 2 times they've disappointed us. I'd say get the teenagers out and maybe put some older people in there that care about customer service. I'll just go to Frutta Bowls from now on.

The place is clean and the staff is ok. Food is very different obviously...and a lol pricey. But some of the bowls are super packed.

The music is VERY loud. Google hasn't updated back to non-summer hours, so they close at 8, not 9

Food is fun. Service is slooooooooowwwww for the amount of ustimers it's generating. I wait 15minutes for a smoothie. It's unusual. And really sucks. Why does I think take that long when there are 7 workers in the kitchen.
